Modules and subscription

What a module is, when it is on, how to switch it and what the subscription gives — plus invoices and the trial.

A module is a set of screens and features that you turn on or off for your company. A module that is off disappears from the menu and from the Dashboard. Your data stays and comes back when you turn it on.

Seven modules

Two modules are paths, the foundation. Five are add-ons.

When a module is on

A module works only when three conditions hold at once:

  1. The subscription covers it. Either the plan has the matching feature, or Delieta granted the module to your company separately, or the module is available in every subscription.
  2. The owner switch is on. You set it in Settings → Modules.
  3. The modules it needs also work. Add-ons need the Shop.

Missing any one condition turns the module off. See also the Module concept.

Settings → Modules

The cards are split into Paths and Add-ons. Each card has a switch and a state badge:

  • On and Off — the module is in the subscription, the switch decides.
  • Not in your subscription — you cannot change the switch. The Add in Billing → link leads to Settings → Subscription.
  • Needs the Shop module — the add-on waits until you turn the Shop on.

Defaults

For a company that has not touched the switches:

  • Shop and Fleet are on. Both existed before modules did.
  • Online payments are on. They existed earlier too.
  • Reservations, Catering, Events and Translations are off. You turn them on when you need them.

When you create the company, the question What do you do? sets Shop and Fleet: shop, fleet or both. Details: For the company.

Dependencies

Reservations, Catering, Events, Translations and Online payments need the Shop. When you turn the Shop off, all five stop working. Their switches stay as they were, so they come back by themselves when you turn the Shop on again.

Trying to turn on an add-on without the Shop ends with a message: “Reservations needs the Shop module. Turn on the Shop first.” (with the add-on’s name at the start).

The last path

You cannot turn off the last path that is on. The panel answers:

Keep the Shop or Fleet on — the company needs at least one path.

First turn the second one on, then turn the first one off. When one path is off, the menu and the Dashboard remind you of it with a short line, e.g. “Fleet is off · map, drivers, ETA.”

What happens when you turn one off

  • Shop off: Products and Ingredients disappear. From the Orders list the item and value columns disappear.
  • Fleet off: Map, Vehicles and Drivers disappear, and from the Orders list the driver and ETA columns. The customer gets a tracking link without a map, driver and ETA window — the status alone. See the tracking page.
  • Add-on off: its entry disappears from the menu, and the module page shows a message, e.g. “Reservations is off”, with a Go to modules button. The data is safe.
  • Translations off: the shop is in Polish only. Saved translations stay. See Translations.

What the subscription gives

A subscription is the Starter, Growth or Pro plan. The plan decides two things: limits (vehicles, drivers, team members) and features. We give no numbers or prices here. You will find the current ones in Settings → Subscription.

Plan features that matter for modules:

  • Shop — a plan feature. Without it the module is “Not in your subscription”.
  • Reservations — a plan feature.
  • Catering — a plan feature.
  • Events — a plan feature ("Wydarzenia i warsztaty", shopEvents). Without it the module is "Not in your subscription".
  • Fleet, Translations, Online payments — available in every subscription. The switch alone governs them.

Beyond modules, the plan turns on Analytics and readiness for a custom domain (Pro plan, see Tracking domain). Delieta can also grant your company a module outside the plan — then the card in Modules shows it as available.

Full discussion of the concept: Entitlement.

Settings → Subscription

This page shows:

  • Current plan — the name, the status (Trial, Active, Past due, Cancelled), the end date of the period or trial, and the badge “Expires at period end” once you have cancelled.
  • Manage payments — the button opens the payment portal: payment method, change, cancellation.
  • Plans — Starter, Growth and Pro cards with a list of what they contain. Prices are net, VAT is added on the invoice. The current plan has the Current badge.
  • Payment history — invoices with number and amount, a filter by status and by period (Period from, Period to), a link to the PDF. The list appears after the first payment.

The trial

Starter and Growth get a trial when the owner’s account has not used one before and the company has not had a subscription. Pro has no trial. If you move to Pro during the trial, the trial ends and the paid period begins.

The card of the plan that a trial would cover has a badge with the trial length, e.g. “1 month free”. During the trial you pay nothing until the visible end date, and you can cancel with one click.
