Alerts
What the inbox colour means, and how to acknowledge, snooze and resolve.
The Alerts inbox is things happening now: lateness, vanishing GPS, idleness, low battery, a driver report, a plan payment problem. It is not a history log and it is not mail.
A plan without the alerts entitlement does not show the inbox as a disabled dummy — either it is there, or it is not.
Severity
Colour says how urgent. That is not a read status. Full concept: alert severity.
- Urgent (red): happening now — the driver vanished from the map or they themselves report a problem from the phone.
- Risk (amber): it will be too late soon — arrival will miss the promised ETA window.
- Operational (grey): deal with it this shift — idle driver, weak battery, queue without assignment.
A grey alert you have read is still operational until someone closes it. Acknowledging does not turn the colour green.
Acknowledge, snooze, resolve
Three verbs, three facts. Each records who and when.
| Verb | What it does |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge | I saw it. The case still lives. |
| Snooze | Hide until the hour you set. It comes back on its own when time is up. |
| Resolve | The case is closed. It does not return as unread. |

Repeats of the same subject (the same driver, the same disappearance) fold into one card — you do not have to silence twelve bells to silence one problem.
A driver who raises an alarm from the phone lands here, not as a silent status on a map pin. See duty.
